We move our 20' & 40' Containers on specialized tilt-trailers that allow us to unload without using any Specialized Machinery.
How much room is needed at delivery?
To have adequate space for container roll-off delivery the flatbed/tilt-bed truck needs 70' in a straight line for a 20’ Container and 120’ in a straight line for a 40’ container

How thick is a shipping container wall?
Steel shipping/cargo containers walls are made from 14-gauge 0.075-inch corrugated sheet steel panels.
What is a container floorboard made from?
Typically, the floors are “5/4” pressure treated marine plywood and made from tropical timber such as Keruing, Apitong, or Bamboo.
What is the largest shipping container size?
There are 45' & 53′ High Cube Dry Containers.
Due to the limited availability and complexity of managing delivery, they are only available via special order.

Shipping containers are built to withstand the rough conditions of the open sea which make them hardy and durable.
How long can an intermodal container last?
The typical lifespan of a container that is in the shipping service is 10-12 years. Once a container is out of shipping service, used for storage or for alternative purposes it can easily last another 10+ years.
